hello!

My name is Sung Yoon Choi.

I'm an illustrator and designer based in the San Francisco Bay area.

Originally from Seoul, Korea, I attended School of Visual Arts and worked as a graphic novelist and an editorial illustrator in New York City.

My work has been published through Random House and featured in the New York Times, New York Magazine and other publications.

After moving to Hollywood to explore work as a storyboard artist at various Studios and ad agencies, I began using Cinema 4D, along with Figma, Sketch and adobe xd.

I eventually movED to NoCal after getting hired at Align Technology as a 3D illustrator and designer.

Now living in Fremont, CA, I continue to design and illustrate books about my first love: food. I've been lucky enough to have a collection of my published - Korean American Cooking Comics - which details the food I cook and my life in the United States.

I live with my partner and our two chonky cats.
