Still Life Las Vegas a novel by James Sie

This book is James Sie’s debut novel. In 2014, I was approached by the author to work on the project. While the book is mostly text and there are some pages designated for comic pages and illustrations. Being the first time working on a fictional story, I had so much fun.

Mission in a Bottle by Seth Goldman and Barry Nalebuff

In 2013, Prof. Barry Nalebuff reached out to see if I’d be interested in illustrating a graphic memoire of him and his business partner, Seth Goldman’s business adventure. The book consists of not only life events but also business lessons built. The most fun and challenging part was I had to create a stylized character for Seth and Barry. Happiness was hard to achieve.

American Widow by Alissa Torres

This was my very first book project. I worked with a warm, compassionate and courageous person. She was sharing a big part of her life with me and eventually with the world. I was doing my best to catch up with her emotionally to be as respectful to her and her story. Working on a tragic event that happened not so far ago was very challenging but eye opening.
